East Titchberry Farm Cottage is a beautiful 2 bedroom thatched cottage with your own private sunny walled garden. Set in an idyllic location 200 metres from the coastal path between Clovelly and Hartland Point, with stunning views over Lundy Island and Shipload Bay . You have spectacular coastal scenery and beaches to explore where Clovelly is 5 miles heading east on the coastal path and Hartland Quay is 3 miles heading west.
East Titchberry Farm dates back to the 15 th Century and is a 120 acre National Trust working farm. Guests are welcome to explore the farm and see our Aberdeen Angus cows
our rare breed Oxford and Sandy Black pigs and very friendly Jacob sheep. We also have free range chickens where you can collect your own eggs for breakfast.
A warm welcome awaits you with tea, coffee and homemade cake. Our cottage has full central heating and with a wood burning stove makes for a wonderful holiday at any time of the year. The children will love all the animals. We also sell our farm produce and as well as eggs we sell beef, lamb, cakes and seasonal vegetables etc.
The recently renovated cottage retains much of its charm and character with exposed beams, inglenook fireplace with wood burner, and slate spiral staircase. The beautiful new kitchen and bathroom offers all modern day conveniences, and although the cottage is attached to the farmhouse you have your own private entrance and sunny walled gardens. The slate spiral staircase and would not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The local village of Hartland is 2 miles away and offers traditional family pubs, tea room, and convenience stores
There are many attractions close by including Hartland Abbey, Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, Atlantic Village, the Big Sheep and the long sandy beaches of Bude and Westward Ho!
The beautiful town of Bideford is 25 minutes away where you can hire bikes to explore the Tarka Trail and kayaks to have fun on the river.
Hartland Forest Golf Club and the Royal North Devon Golf Club at Westwood Ho! are both 20 minutes away.
