East Titchberry Farm Cottage is a beautiful 2 bedroom thatched cottage on a 150 acre National Trust working farm located right on the South West Coast Path between Hartland Point and Clovelly. The farm has stunning views over Lundy Island and Shipload Bay and is a walkers paradise with spectacular coastal scenery in both directions.
East Titchberry Farm is a tranquil, undiscovered rural haven of peace where you can meet our Aberdeen Angus cows, Jacob sheep, our rare breed Oxford and Sandy Black pigs, free range chickens and not forgetting Rosie our collie and our Jack Russell, Dipper.
A warm welcome awaits you with tea, coffee and homemade cake. The cottage has full central heating and with a wood burning stove makes for a wonderful holiday at any time of the year.
The renovated cottage retains much of its charm and character with exposed beams, ignlenook fireplace with wood burner and a quirky slate spiral staircase. Please note that the spiral staircase may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties. The beautiful kitchen and modern shower room/wet room offer all modern day conveniences. Although the cottage is attached to the farmhouse you have your own entrance and sunny walled garden.
The local village of Hartland is 2 miles away and has three pubs, coffee shop, post office, convenience store, fish and chip shop and lots of arts and crafts.
There are many places to visit close by including Hartland Abbey, Hartland Quay, The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Dartington Crystal and many more.
From Bideford you can hire bikes to explore the Tarka Trail or kayaks to have fun on the river.
The long sandy beaches of Sandymouth, Bude and Westward Ho! are all close by.
